According to Tim Perriss book’s 4-Hour Body – The Slow-Carb Dietfruits‘ principal sugar is fructose, which is converted to glycerol phosphate more efficiently than most of other carbs.

Glycerol phosphate –> triglycerides (via the liver) –> fat storage.

There are a few exceptional fruits (tomatoes and avocadoes, and the later should be limited usage) but according to Tim Perriss research, you should avoid fruit six days per week to be successful.

In the last day of the week, you eat whatever you want 🙂
